This combination medication is used to treat melasma on the face. Melasma is a condition of dark patchy areas on the skin, especially on the cheeks and forehead. It sometimes occurs with hormone changes.
How fast does Tri-Luma work?
How long does it take for Tri-Luma to work? It can take between 4 and 8 weeks after starting Tri-Luma for you to notice full improvement. Please contact your provider if you have not seen full results after 8 weeks, as this medication is not meant for long-term use.

Tri-Luma is for use only on the skin. If this medicine gets in your eyes or mouth, rinse with water. Tri-Luma is usually applied once per day, at least 30 minutes before bedtime. Follow your doctor’s instructions.
