Can you do challenges on MyFitnessPal?
Challenges weren’t widely used when we did have them available to our users, and as you may have noticed, we don’t currently have any active challenges in MyFitnessPal. Removing this feature helps us simplify the application and streamline the user experience.

We found that a substantial percentage (~75%) of participants used My Fitness Pal and that 73% of these users perceived the app as contributing to their eating disorder. Furthermore, we found that these perceptions were correlated with eating disorder symptoms.

Can you add friends on MyFitnessPal?
Launch the app and visit the “Friends” page. Tap “Add Friends” or the plus “+” then tap “Email or MyFitnessPal Username.” In the “To” field, enter the email address(es) of your friend(s) to send a friend request. If they are already members, they will receive a Friend Request in their MyFitnessPal account.
