What is an exit guide?
Typically, clients’ only person-to-person contact with the Final Exit Network is through “exit guides”, who are volunteers assigned by case coordinators to meet with clients and attend the death events.
How long does it take for maid to take effect?
The eligibility assessments must take at least 90 days (about 3 months), but this period can be shortened if the person is about to lose the capacity to make health care decisions, if both assessments have been completed.
